A brief history of Locate Homes
Locate Properties is incorporated.
We sign our first commercial lease (giving us a base to work from) and start trading. The office contains two desks (which is handy because we only have two members of the team – Naveed and Haseeb), one phone line and a small ad in the local press. Modest beginnings!
By the end of our first week we have attracted two landlords and two properties. We’ve never looked back since…
The first version of our website goes live.
The buy to let boom is in full flow and helps fuel the growth in our sales and lettings division.
The team starts to grow – we employ our first member of staff to cope with the increasing workload.
We up the ante in terms of advertising (and create a better impression when we visit clients) by wrapping a Mini Cooper S with our logo.
2½ years completed (almost), along with our 60th property sale.
We join the Tenant Deposit Scheme MyDeposits.
We become a member of The Property Ombudsman for Sales and Lettings.
Our new Lettings Administrator joins the Locate team.
The Mini needs help. We add more vehicles to the Locate fleet.
Our Maintenance Division continues to grow, with 12+ expert tradesman on our approved contractor list.
We become members of the National Approved Letting Scheme (NALS).
We are SAFEagent accredited.
Celebrating 10 years of Locate.
Gain Level 3 Technical Award in Residential Lettings & Property Management.
Time to expand again. We find a new commercial space on North Parade, Bradford and start putting plans in place to redevelop it as our new HQ.
The new office redevelopment begins.
