The National Approved Letting Scheme (NALS)

NALS approval is your assurance that we meet NALS’ standards of customer service and more.

NALS is an independent licensing scheme for lettings agents in Bradford and across the UK. NALS approval is your assurance that we meet NALS’ standards of customer service, that we are part of a Client Money Protection Scheme, and that, if you ever feel the need to complain, we have a procedure that offers you independent redress.

SAFEagent

Landlords and tenants: you need to know your money is protected. SAFE is the mark that tells you it is.

Landlords and tenants: you need to know your money is protected. SAFE – Safe Agent Fully Endorsed – is the mark that tells you it is. SAFE is the body that records which lettings agents across the UK are part of a CMP (Client Money Protection) scheme. That’s a scheme that protects the money you place with your agent and guarantees it, whatever happens to the agent. It’s not the same as a Tenancy Deposit Scheme (see below).

If your agent isn’t part of a CMP scheme, come and talk to one that is.

MyDeposits (Tenant Deposit Solutions Ltd)

MyDeposits is not only government backed; it’s also backed by the NLA, the UK’s leading landlord association.

As a Bradford letting agent, we’re legally obliged to place tenants’ deposits into a secure, government-backed deposit protection scheme. The scheme we have chosen is My Deposits. The reason for our choice? Because MyDeposits is not only government backed; it’s also backed by the National Landlord Association, the UK’s leading landlord association.

The Property Ombudsman (TPO)

Fair and independent dispute resolution and redress that keeps your interests protected.

Choose Locate to sell or let your Bradford property, and we think you’ll feel it was a decision well made. But what if things don’t quite go according to plan? How can you know your interests will be protected?

Locate is a member of the TPO for that very reason. The ombudsman is government approved, and provides independent redress in disputes between property agents and their clients. So, in the extremely unlikely event of you feeling the need to complain, it won’t be our word against yours; we’ll both have the support of the TPO to reach a fair and independent outcome.
